Gmail has recently updated with stylish design and advanced features like confidential mode, snooze emails, smart compose, and nudge to helps you manage communications better than before. Are you started using the new Gmail?
Smart compose is similar to the auto-complete in Google search. Here Gmail gives you writing suggestions as you type. But it is currently in the experimental stage and will not be enabled in your account by default. So you have to turn on the feature (through settings) to get predictive input into your Gmail emails.
Enable or Disable Smart Compose in Gmail
Sign into Your Gmail account and tap the gear button on the top-right side of the screen to open settings.
Now you are under the General tab. Scroll down to the bottom to locate the Experimental Access option.
Put a tick mark on the box and Save changes.
Visit the same page again to see the Smart Compose option. Turn it on to get predictive writing suggestions while composing your emails. Don’t forget to save changes before leaving the screen. That’s it. Now you will get writing suggestions as you type Gmail messages.
