Build your identity right from the beginning.
You want to create a unique identity in writing style, contents, design and elsewhere on the site. But are you still using the traditional login page to login to WordPress?
Time for a change. Create a custom login page that features your website logo, background and insert even CAPTCHA fields for a different look and enhanced security.
Creating a Custom Login Page in WordPress
Install and activate Custom Login Page Customizer first on your WordPress website.
It will add a new menu under your theme customizer. Go to Appearance > Customize and click on Login Customizer to explore options.
It allows you to add a logo, background image, and color to beautify the screen. You can either use a media library image or upload a new picture to set is as the logo. Adjust its width and height according to your selected image ratio. Go back to the previous screen to customize other parts of the login page.
Choose a background image or color to fill your browser screen. You can do the same thing for form background too. Then, go to Form Styling tab to adjust the size of username and password fields. The last border field will activate a border around your login form to differentiate it from the rest of the page.
The other tabs guide you on decorating input fields, labels, and buttons with regard to their text color and background. Using live preview support, we can instantly know how the changes will reflect on our site. So we are able to save the settings or revert them easily.
Now we have created a custom unique login page for WordPress. But every website is facing hacking attempts from other parts of the world on a 24 x 7 basis. Why are you taking the risk? Secure it using CAPTCHA plugins and prevent cyber bots from making fake login attempts into your site. If you are really conscious about WordPress security, make use of these plugins to protect your business and contents.
