Creating an Order Form in WordPress
Let us check how to create a WordPress order form with WPForms.
1. Install and activate WPForms
You should buy the WPForms plugin first. After making payment, you will be redirected to the account dashboard. Click on Downloads to view your license key and download the plugin.
Next, install WPForms on your website. After activation, visit WPForms > Settings and paste the license key that you copied from the WPForms dashboard. On successful verification, you will see a confirmation message on the screen.
2. Create a simple WordPress order form
Switch toWPForms > Add New to create a new form.
Choose Billing/Order form from the list of templates to proceed. It will load in a few seconds.
The order form template will contain all essential fields name, email, address, phone number, etc. If you would like to add any other field, drag and drop it from the left pane to the main screen to add. Click a form field to change settings and customize it.
Scroll down to locate the Available Items list and replace them with the products you want to sell.
Add products one by one along with their rates. Click ‘+’ to add more products. It is also possible to show images of your products. Check the ‘Use Image Choices’ box and upload images (200 x 125) for each item.
3. Turn on notifications
Once an order is placed, notifications should be sent to both parties- admin and the buyer. Open settings> notifications to configure your form settings.
By default, WPForms will send notifications to your email address. But you can send them to more emails if needed.
Click ‘ Show Smart Tags’ and choose your email form field to send an order confirmation message to buyers.
Customize other fields like from name, email, and message to personalize your form notifications.
4. Publish your order form
There are three ways to publish a WPForms form,
1. Create a new post or page. Click the ‘Add Form’ icon from the top of your visual editor.
Choose your order form from the drop-down box to add.

2. Go to Appearance > Widgets and add WPForms. Choose a destination.
