A computer’s appearance will change based on the themes applied. It affects your background image, status bar color, start menu color, etc.
To apply a theme or change the existing one, open your Windows settings first. Tap the Settings icon from the Start menu or type settings in the taskbar search box.
Choose Personalization to get relevant settings. Click Themes from the left pane. You will see theme-related settings and available themes in the right pane. If you are not satisfied with the existing themes, click the Windows Store link to download more themes.
Click a theme to quickly apply it to your computer. Windows will highlight your active theme on the top side where you can customize it further. Click Background to change theme’s background type and image, Color to change color types and default app mode, Sounds to configure various sound types, and Mouse cursor to customize the mouse pointer. Save theme to apply your changes.
